Valencia is a city filled with cafe’s, bars, and restaurants. It would take ages to try them all out! The streets are filled with lovely terraces and you will see that most of the Valencian people are sitting outside enjoying some tapas or a drink.
In this guide I will share some of my favourite places to eat in Valencia.
1. Los Gómez
Los Gómez is located in the centre of Valencia. You can choose to sit inside or outside and even though the terrace is out on the street, you’ll still feel like you escape a bit of the business of Valencia city.
Here at Los Gómez, you can enjoy some tapas or paella. I tried the paella when I was here and it was super delicious! The paella was freshly made by order and cooked with local ingredients.
You can find Los Gómez at Carrer de Correus, 10, 46002 València.
2. Dulce de Leche Boutique
Dulce de Leche Boutique is a super cute place to have breakfast or brunch. They serve organic coffee, cold pressed juices, and delicious homemade food.
When you walk inside you’ll see endless of homemade cakes and sandwiches with a variety of vegan and non vegan choices!
The place is quite busy so you might have to wait for a couple minutes but it’s definitely worth the wait!
Here you can have café con Leche with oat milk for 1.50 euro, a juice for 4.50 and a sandwich will cost you between 2-5 euros.
I’d recommend trying the Fartons here, which is a typical Valencian donut. It’s super light and fluffy and it will cost you 0.90 cents. Perfect combination with a coffee!
All in all, good quality food for a good price too! I definitely recommend trying this place out 🙂
You can find Dulce de Leche Boutique at Carrer del Pintor Gisbert, 2, 46006 València.
The cosiest place I’ve ever been to!! The photo doesn’t do justice for how warm and cosy this place really is!
An outside terrace with candle light, cozy christmas lights, crunchy bread and homemade pasta! What more do you want 🙂
Here you can enjoy delicious homemade pasta, salads, and desserts. There is a variety of choice with vegetarian and non vegetarian options.
They offer a shared menu for 20 euro’s per person which includes 2 starters, pasta and dessert. And the best thing about this menu is, if you’re still hungry, you can just order more pasta within the menu.
We’ve noticed that this place is very popular so it’s best to make a reservation before hand!
You can find Lambrusqueria at Carrer del Comte d’Altea, 31, 46005 València.
4. El Almecén
If you want to enjoy some tapas with a modern twist, I highly recommend you go to El Almecén in Ruzafa! The menu is amazing, super original and very delicious. Every dish you’ll order here will blow your mind by the way they prepare and serve the food. You will be surprised with each dish you order!
My personal favourite dishes in EL Almecén were the Gnocchi and the Lemon Cake. It taste nothing like a lemon cake or gnocchi you had before I promise ;).
You can find El Almecén at Carrer de Sueca, 41, 46022 València.
